listersgirlMy new theory is that Aaron Sorkin is deliberately making Studio 60 as unlike a real sketch comedy as possible.
Sting and his lute? Granted, it's topical - the album just came out, or is coming out - but Dowland? Dowland? On a comedy show (or at least a comedy show soundcheck)? Not to mention that I seriously object to being forced to listen to Sting butcher those poor lute songs. Bad enough that I was forced to experience the badness at work.
But I will forgive him. Because I love the show.
