We played a little bit of TV catch-up tonight, watching things that we taped earlier in the week. Most excitingly, we finally found time to watch The O.C. - there is nothing on that show as brilliant as the scenes with Ryan, Seth and Sandy. The three of them together are so very funny. Sadly, we got all excited at the thought of getting a new episode of Gilmore Girls and it was a repeat! Tricksy Global TV. Was it a new episode in the States and are we now just a week behind?
We also saw the first episode of Rick Mercer's new show, Monday Report. I do really love Rick Mercer. He's my snarky pretend comedian boyfriend (with a lovely accent, which is always a bonus). And I love that since it's Canadian, I actually get the political references. I'm definitely going to check it out again. Plus I think we'll try to catch a taping -- they've been promoting them all over the elevators at work.
Oh, and I watched Angel, which was fun. The show's not grabbing me like I had hoped it would this season, but I can't quite give it up. And when they don't try to give every single character a plotline in every episode it works.
