Two of you started new jobs yesterday, and both of you are still alive and not miserable. Hooray! This is good.

Also good:

-The weather. Anyone want to take bets on how long it'll be before I start whining about it being too hot? But for the moment it's just perfect, and I walked home last night, and it was wonderful.

-14 more days until Kitchen Confidential on DVD!

-No major disasters while I've been in charge at work.

-The Dresden Dolls album I got for my birthday.

-Heroes, which fills me with eeeeeee! Mama Petrelli scares me, completely. What is she doing? Why is she pushing for this destruction of New York plan? Aieee. Also, I'm completely paranoid that Ando is going to die, which would be so sad. Hiro needs him. We need him! I love seeing all the story threads come together, though.

Friday evening is probably better all around -- dim sum kind of scares me, what with the potential for not knowing what is in the various dishes. But whatever happens, I will definitely make time to see you that weekend, YAY.

I've actually booked some time for bitching about the heat into this afternoon, when it's supposed to be 25 degrees out. I'll be downtown again and probably wearing a too-tight suit of some kind.

Also, this summer I plan to catch up with the rest of the world and watch Heroes. I'm late to the party, but once I've picked my way over the 47 mateless left shoes in the doorway, accidentally kicked a couple of snoozers on the floor, and let the cat escape, there's probably a room upstairs where people are still talking and hanging out. Right?

You need to watch Heroes, definitely. And I'm sure the theorizing will keep going all summer.

When it comes to the Heroes party, I am going to be that crazy person who's still talking at everyone as the sun comes up, regardless of whether they have already passed out. So you should DEFINITELY catch up! :D
