Current NaNo total: 5708.

I am such a slow writer, y'all. Also, very easily distracted. I think it's not a good idea for me to listen to Ben Folds Five while I write, because I start dancing in my chair and stop paying attention to what I'm doing.

Well, I'm pretty sure I won't make it to 50,000 by the end of the month, but at least I managed to pass that spot this morning where I realized that I actually needed a plot.

Current random things included: a man in a bunny suit, Mr. Abigaza the mussel salesman, and tap dancing.

...

I finished watching Angels in America last night. FUCKING AWESOME. I wept and wailed at the end, not so much because it was sad right then, but because the whole thing had been so full of emotion. Fabulous acting, incredible story. I would love to see the stage play.

Today has mostly been about pretending I was writing while actually adding tags to all my entries, and getting many, many phone calls from wrong numbers. I have to stop answering the phone. It's just that I don't think I've had a phone call in the past two weeks, so I was completely startled when it rang the first time, and then it was actually for me, despite being from an unknown number. And then I thought maybe that would happen again, but not so much.

Okay! I think I'm going to go write more. I left my characters in the middle of a blackout, the poor things.

Omg prepare. I may have reacted more strongly to it than the average bear....but yeah. I think you'll like it, because it's also very literary (in that the gal is an English Prof. and there's lots of references, etc). Get some tissue ready though....it almost killed me.
