Wow, I'm spectacularly uninterested in anything today. I don't even want to go to bellydance class tonight. I should, though, because we're starting a new veil choreography and I need all the help I can get, what with being a huge dork when I have a veil in my hands. I can wrap that thing around me like nobody's business...just not when I'm actually supposed to.

Also *really* not interested in the book I'm reading right now. I think I might just have to admit defeat. And unsurprisingly, I'm not interested in being at work, although that will be over soon.

Maybe I need to resort to time-honoured remedies, and inject some sugar into my bloodstream.

What book is it?

Royal Assassin, by Robin Hobb. Fantasy stuff. I read the first one, and enjoyed it, but I canNOT get interested in this one. I'm probably 3/4 of the way through, since it was the only book I had at work, but I really doubt my ability to finish it.

I *just* got back from the bakery downstairs, victoriously munching on a honey-almond stick. We'll be better in about half an hour. ;)

It worked, too - by the time I got to dance class I was much more energized.

Of course, if I need sugar this morning, there's a box of doughnuts RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Gah.
