I just got back from a night out with my girls,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
shoefiend and the Unnamed Diva. We went out for a Single Girls Friday the 13th Anti-Valentine's Day thingy. We wore tiaras (why not?). We drank wine and ate tasty dessert. We talked about boys and singing and random other stuff, and laughed far too loud. We even had a boy, who had to be an honorary Single Girl for the night, complete with tiara. As a foursome, we were a perfect Sex & the City group (I was Miranda, of course).
Then we went to a swing club and drank martinis and listened to music and giggled a lot. What would I do without my friends? I like to pretend I'm completely anti-social and hate everyone, but I love my friends. I love you all too, even though I don't know most of you as well as I'd like to. I wish I knew you better.
Oh, and we reconfirmed the Atheist Nunnery. Members: Sister Mary Johnny Depp (me), Sister Mary Jon Stewart, Sister Mary River Phoenix, Sister Mary Colin Firth, Sister Mary Clive Owen. Who else wants to join? We have houseboys! You know you want to...Sister Mary Dominic Monaghan, anyone?

Date: 2004-02-15 05:36 am (UTC)Incidentally, I was anecdotalizing to a chorus member about the atheist nunnery the other day at rehearsal and mentioned that it's getting too big for the duplex, and she said that she and her friends are planning a global network of crazy-old-woman boarding house/apartment complex/residence hotels. And I thought that I should probably stay in touch with her. Planning for the future and all that. :)
