Blood: it's in you to give. Maybe.

In complete opposition to my own blood donating story (in which the only point of interest was finding out what blood type I am),
vestra went to donate blood and ended up in the emergency room! Talk about New Year's Resolutions gone bad. I hope that eating more fruits and veggies doesn't turn out quite this dramatically.
(My side of the story: I got a phone call from the blood services nurse saying that they'd called an ambulance to take her to emergency, and I thought that was a bit of an overreaction, because she said "your friend was feeling a little faint", not "your friend passed out twice in Indigo". True facts make for much better reactions. Also, emergency waiting rooms are a little scary when you're not too sick to notice that everyone around you is vilely ill.)
