It is just so expensive to fly home for Christmas. Why can't my parents live in Guelph or something like that?

On second thought, no, it's really better that they don't. I'd like to get *away* from the snow.

The fares would be *almost* affordable if it weren't for the damn taxes.

I resent having to pay 400$+ for a one-hour flight! Grrrr.

I'm sure it's lovely, but nothing compares to Victoria in the winter, mostly because there *is* no winter there, at least compared with Ontario.

How do you like KW? I have a friend who is trying everything in her power to get me to move there. She swears I would love it.

I was born here and raised here. I like it.

Waterloo more so than Kitchener for living.

Fav places:

Club Abstract for clubbing.

Galaxy Conestoga Mall for mainstream movies (better than Silver City)

Princess Cinema in Waterloo for more artsy movies (it's similar to the Bookshelf for movie selection)

Wordsworth books in Waterloo and 2nd look books in Kitchener.

Encore Records in downtown Kitchener.

and so on, but I still think ppl in Guelph are generally nicer and I enjoyed the Trash, the Underground and Van Gogh's Ear for clubbing when I lived there.

And I loved hanging around that bigass church at night.

I like Guelph but Waterloo is good too.

Hamilton sucked :>
