Happy October!

I hear that radio stations all over are calling it "Rocktober". I wouldn't know - I'm pretty sure Tom Allen would never say that.
I had a nice little "Welcome to October" present waiting for me at work this morning: the servers were down. Yup, that's right, at my job we celebrate the changing of the seasons (and sometimes even the changing of the days) with computer failure. Most things are up again now, but I still can't get at my email, which is making me very sad.
And since it's October, it's time for a little resolution check. September's resolution was to be more productive at work, which, actually, I think I did pretty well (other than my continuing fear of the shipping department which is causing boxes to pile up everywhere). I definitely have more energy first thing in the morning, so I've started diving right into work stuff, rather than reading all the various journals and weblogs that I have bookmarked. Those I save for 3:30, when, without fail, I can't concentrate on anything. So I think I can mark that resolution Done!
Even though I thought I couldn't remember what October's resolution was, it was apparently already in my consciousness, because it is to cook more and eat at home more. So I guess I have a head start. Actually, I'm already doing this more than I was when I made the resolution in January, which is great. And now that we're getting the veggies again, I'll have even more reasons.
