Big Love season 2: The parts with Bill fighting with Roman, and buying the other business, got a little tedious, but I still enjoy watching the family dynamics.

Bring It On: In It To Win It: So much ridiculous fun.

Coupling season 3: Not as funny as the first two. I suppose it just got a little repetitive.

Deadwood season 3: Wow, I loved the first 2 seasons, but I cannot get into this season. I might have to send it back and try again later.

Double Happiness: I haven't seen this for years, not since it first came out - Sandra Oh (in one of her first roles) as a young woman in a very traditional Chinese family who falls for an awkward white guy (Callum Keith Rennie - this was the start of my CKR love, way back in 1994). It was still great.

Fucking Amal (Show Me Love): A Swedish movie set in the tiny town of Amal, about teenage outcast Agnes, who is in love with Elin, and a kiss on a dare. Enjoyable.

Jesus Camp: A scary documentary about camps where kids are taught to uphold the evangelical Christian Right (I think that's right). Engrossing.

Juno: There's been a lot of backlash against this movie, but I really liked it, despite some affectations. Ellen Page is awesome, always, and Michael Cera was very sweet. Totally charming.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End: Yes, fine, it was bad.

Scrubs season 3: Oh yes, so much fun.

Sex and the City: I feel like it's a little late to even have an opinion on this. But basically, it felt like an extended episode of the show, which was really all I was looking for. I hope they don't make another one, though - even this was a bit of a stretch, because they really had resolved things at the end of the series, and now they're all resolved again.

This Is Wonderland season 1: A quirky Canadian legal drama, revolving around public defenders. A little sad, a little ridiculous and a lot entertaining.

Waitress: I felt like Keri Russell was acting on a different level of realism than the rest of the cast, but I loved the movie to pieces. Although it left me with a desire for pie that still hasn't gone away.

The Wire season 4: Oh my god, this just about killed me. Awesome, and amazing kid actors like I've never seen, but so heartwrenching.

Ha, I just this minute watched Waitress. Seriously. I can't believe I didn't see it earlier with my love of baking and all, and my immediate reaction was to want to hang movie posters dealing with food on my bare kitchen wall. Please tell me if this is tacky, I seem to have lost perspective, and am I crazy to say I found it incredibly heartwarming with some real moments of insight?

I remember seeing Show Me Love when it first came out and loving it. A friend of my worked at the movie theatre and I used to get in free if she was at the ticket counter. :)

I really need to see The Wire S4! Especially since I've seen S5.

I've only ever seen the first Bring it On (I just watched it again last week when it was on tv, _with commercials_, which shows you how much I love it), so it's good to know In It To Win It is worth checking out.

I had never heard of either Double Happiness, or Fucking Amal, but now kind of want to see both.

Fucking Amal! For years I've wondered what this movie was called. I saw it late on TV one night and wondered about it ever since. It was so sweet and sad!

Also, good to hear that "This is Wonderland" was good. I've got the first season kicking around somewhere and have been afraid to watch it in case it sucked.
