My current obsession is Project Runway, which I have never watched before, but which I love for all the same reasons that I love but am also often annoyed with America's Next Top Model: I don't really care about the people or the draaaahmah, but I love watching them do their stuff. I like to hear them talk about their design ideas, and see how things work out or don't work out when they actually get to the fabric, and then see the final product. It's fascinating! Or it is when you're me.

However I've been spoiled by TV on DVD, and I do not like this waiting around for the next week thing. Whose idea was that? Surely my life is boring enough that I deserve back-to-back episodes of designing goodness?

I love to see what other people do for a living, and how they do it. I think it's a very common librarian trait - we just want to know everything!

We're watching Battlestar Galactica on DVD, and we'd KILL ourselves if we had to wait a week to see all the cliffhangers resolved. that show is cliffhanger heaven - every single episode! I love dvds.
