Last night I crawled into bed, fell asleep within 15 minutes, and didn't wake up until my alarm went off. How did this miracle occur? It was COLD in my bedroom. I haven't had a good night's sleep in months and months, but last night it was finally cool enough that I could sleep comfortably, and it was marvelous. Miraculous, even. Sweet pete, I hope this continues.

I am loving the cold sleeping weather. Last night my feet got cold before I went to bed and so I put on socks! Woolen socks! And they were still on when I woke up this morning. Beauty. Now I'll be happy for a couple of weeks until the building management turns the furnace up to "hell".

Relief! It's been lovely and cool here, too: I love having the bedroom cold enough that I *need* to be all wrapped up in the duvet.

I *love* it nice and cool in the bedroom; I've finally gotten [livejournal.com profile] carpetofstars over to that way of thinking, too. We have ungodly loud radiators in our building, so the bedroom radiator has been turned off for several years now. :-)

I slept pretty well last night, too, but I don't think it's the temperature so much as being able to have my heavy duvet on the bed again. Mmm, duvet.

I wish I had not only control over my own apartment's heat, but heat on a timer -- because I need it to only be cold right in the middle of the night. If there's cold air outside the bed, I have a TERRIBLE time getting out into it.
