Now is the time when I get really tense while watching SYTYCD, because I start having Opinions, and I do not trust other people to agree with me. Sabra is still my favourite of the women, but I can't decide between Pasha and Danny. They're both incredibly graceful dancers, and totally flexible, both in terms of body and styles. And the dances! Dude, they're getting difficult. Here is why I love this show: it REQUIRES good dancers. Early on, you can see the choreographers working to their dancers strengths and weaknesses, but this close to the end, all bets are off. So awesome.

On a completely different note, I'm trying once again to not spend hours and hours every night on the computer. Tonight I didn't turn it on until 7:30! Go me. Because seriously, it's not like I *do* anything for all those hours on the computer. And I think it's diminishing my ability to focus on anything. (Of course, I'm *still* on the computer, as you can see. Turning it off again is the next challenge.) Also, I randomly decided to walk partway home in the 33 degree heat. I don't *think* I've lost my mind. But maybe it'll tire me out enough that I'll actually sleep tonight.

Right! I have to get dressed and go buy cereal, otherwise I will have no breakfast and be very, very sad. (Pretend you can see me mock pouting.)

I don't know about mock pouting: I think that, if *I* ran out of breakfast cereal, there'd be some very serious and very real pouting going on.

I know that my hopes didn't help much on Tuesday night, but I'm hoping again that you slept better last night...

I slept much better! Thank Pete. Not *enough* - it's never enough - but I think I slept right through the night and I am much less cranky. Plus I had breakfast foods. :)

I also get tense wathcing SYTYCD. I really like Sabra, but I also really like Lauren (the Wade Robson dance she did with Neil totally sealed it for me). I like Pasha and Neil better than I like Danny, but that's more about how Danny comes across to me, rather than how well they dance (Danny really, REALLY bugs me in that way). If things continue in the same way they have been going, I say that Neil and Lauren are going home on Monday (although I don't want either of them to get kicked off).

I've actually been really good lately about not going on the computer for hours at night (although it's sort of just been replaced with movies or tv, so who knows if it's a good thing!). We'll see how long it lasts!

Yeah, I don't think Danny's really the best choice for something like this, where personality is a part of it, but I love to watch him dance. I just hope Lacey doesn't win -- I'm really not thrilled with her.

I will admit that Danny is a very good dancer. I don't really want Lacey to win, either, but I think she has a very good chance of winning. She's certainly a crowd favourite, but I have to wonder how much of it is because she's Benji's sister.

It's really hard staying away from the computer, isn't it? I automatically gravitate towards it. I even get my breakfast and go sit down in front of it when I get up. Maybe we need to put signs on our monitors "Get away from me, and DO SOMETHING!" :)

At least its not like last year when every time Heidi danced I would think "This should have been Allison!!"

I don't care much for Lauren, and I can't even tell you why. Sabra grew on me a lot, at first I'll admit I didn't see what people saw in her. I like Lacey's charisma but don't think she compares to the dancing Sabra can do.

The men - Neil I feel torn about because he comes across as the dorky drugged guy in Empire Records (PLEASE tell me you know who I mean) but then he will do something brilliant. I've been impressed with Pasha's flexibility as far as genres go. I think Danny is lacking somewhat, not in technique though obviously.

At least this year you don't have to see them dancing for Celine Dion. That made it harder to vote last year. And if even Benji can get onto a Christina Aguilera video with his style of dancing, that shouldn't figure into it really.

I miss Hok though. I thought he should have at least made the top 10 for the tour.

Pretty much, this is my favorite show all because I can't dance a bit.

Hee, I know! I am in such awe of them.

I agree about Hok, although I think he lost his energy at some point. Neil, I just can't get behind (and I do know who you mean, bwa). He's a good dancer, but maybe he doesn't have enough presence. And technically I don't think he's as good as Pasha or Danny.
