listersgirl: (do we care)

Normally on Friday nights I am happy, nay excited, to come home, crash on the couch, half-watch a movie, play on the internet, and go to bed blissfully early. Because I am old. But tonight, man, nothing is holding my attention, I'm bored, and I wish I were out doing something involving other people. Crazy!

Also, my apartment smells like cat food. I'm fairly certain these are unrelated statements, though.

Anyway, I think I might get re-dressed and go for a walk - and you know it's serious if I'm contemplating leaving the state of pantslessness. Because I'm seriously just wandering around my apartment, looking for something that'll hold my interest for more than 2 minutes.

yours aimlessly,

If you didn't hate it oh so very much you could get on SecondLife and pal around with me because I'm feeling the same way.

Last night I went to a Toronto concert in SL - heard of Uncle Seth?

I'm having the same problem tonight.

I know that feeling. Sometimes I am grateful that my innate coward didn't let me go out and head up to the local bar on those nights. And sometimes I regret that. I should do that, if I ever get a weekend to myself again.

Suffering people overload right now.

That sounds familiar. What's worse is that I actively look forward to going home and perfecting this routine. But yeah, I know what you mean. When you reach the point where you're willing to get back into clothes, you really should just get out. I hope you found something fun to do.

I hear that. Of course, I never use that extra energy to do something productive around the house. I wake up on Saturday morning with that same dissatisfied sense and a messy house. Sigh.

Heh. I hear you on that one. I realised last night that I was sitting around going, "Hmmph, why is there nothing happening?" But did I go and make something happen? Ha.

I hope you found something to do. And if it involved having to get dressed again, I hope it was worth it!

:-) Getting lots of sleep is rarely a bad thing. I hope you're feeling less restless this morning.
