If you ever want to know the minute details of my life, all you have to do is hang out in my apartment building hallway. You can hear EVERYTHING. I always forget this (because if I'm not in my apartment, no-one is) and then I run downstairs to get the laundry and leave the music playing quietly, and when I get back to my door it's like I'm in the same room, even when the door is closed. I'm sure the big space between the floor and the door has something to do with it.

If you were outside my apartment right now, you'd be able to hear me watching Hedwig. And occasionally exclaiming to no-one at all how sweaty I am.

We share an entire length of our apartment with another apartment. You can often hear the TV or voices in the other apt. when out in stairwell, but you cannot hear *anything* from our apartment. This seems oddly wrong to me (not that I'm complaining).
