My cab driver yesterday (in D.C.) opened conversation with "so what do you think about this gay marriage thing?" Normally I'd prevaricate because I hate fighting with cab drivers, but I said "I hope it goes through and I can't think why anyone would have a problem with it." He said... nothing. :p
