Jul. 30th, 2007 06:13 pmAaaaand it's time for another round of "listersgirl is left whimpering and confused by modern methods of communication". In today's episode, I am thrown by all the millions of ways that I could convey a random piece of information! I am paralyzed by choice, and decide that it's really just Not That Important and do nothing!
But seriously, way too many ways to tell people things these days: email, LJ post, LJ comment, Facebook wall post, Facebook message, Facebook status, text message, instant messenger, gchat. And that's without actually *talking* to anyone, and only including those things I actually do. CANNOT COPE. BRINGING BACK THE CARRIER PIGEON.
(Also, somewhat unrelatedly, Facebook poking made a surprise resurgence today from a number of different quarters, and I am still completely confused. Also, why is it always men who start? Regression to elementary school or subconscious sexual symbolism?)
