Sep. 18th, 2006 11:07 amBecause Sorkin loves Canada the best*, Studio 60 is showing on Sunday nights here, so I watched it**, and it was wonderful, and there was joy in the land of me.
OH SORKIN.
Even Amanda Peet didn't annoy me too much, despite the fact that I generally can't stand her. I think it's because her character is much more restrained than most of the people I've seen her be.
I think my favourite thing, though, was hearing someone say "Roll VTR". Studio techs! I have missed studio techs.
Did you know that Mark McKinney, my favourite Kid in the Hall, is one of the writers? He was hired specifically to work on the sketches that are part of the actual sketch show that this takes place behind the scenes of, so that they were actually good when needed. Whee!
*Or NOT, given the content of the actual show.
**Because my cable is still mysteriously on. Not that I'm actually objecting to free cable, but the point of getting rid of it was so that I wouldn't watch as much tv, and now it's fall premiere season, and already the tv is sucking my free time.
