And now I am leaving, never to be seen from again...or at least not until I finish the ENORMOUS book I'm reading right now. Honestly, it's amazing there are any words left in the world, because I swear Neal Stephenson used them all up.

You know what I love?

Well, yes, kittens, sushi, and Market Spice tea from Granville Island, but ALSO, that all shower curtains take 12 shower curtain rings.

Think about it: most things in this world take only specific accessories, of a certain size and certain brand. But shower curtains are all-inclusive. Unbiased. Welcoming, even.

You can have a designer shower curtain (although, why?), and decorate it with dollar store rings. Or your solid gold shower curtain rings (note: I have not ever seen these, but I have NO DOUBT that they exist) will open their arms for a cheap polka dot curtain from the corner store. It's terribly heartwarming.
