I'm just about to head out to the airport to pick up my friend K., who is making a quick trip here for some sort of conference thingy, after presenting at PLA in Seattle. I somehow managed to not see her at Christmas, even though she's in Vancouver, and I was just across the water. Tomorrow we're hooking up with a couple of other librarians, and having a little reunion, which will be brilliant. Meanwhile, though, I'm having a hard time remembering that I'm not just about to go to bed. I'm sleepy! Hopefully I won't fall asleep at the airport.
