It's obvious that [livejournal.com profile] sarcasma is hogging the brain, because I have the attention span of...well, me, but me with not enough sleep and no chocolate.

Dude, now I really want chocolate.

I have approximately 476 IE windows open right now, because I keep starting something new, and then drifting off, forgetting what I was doing. Hmm, apparently one of the things I was doing required me to argue with the Canadian government, because I have an email open, but no actual information in it. Argh. Oh, and look, there's another email that I started and forgot about. (For the record, that sentence happened a good twenty minutes after the one before, because I forgot I was writing this entry.)

Yeah. I still need chocolate.

Also, I'd like to declare a boycott on ordering things from the US because of all the extra money I have to spend on getting stuff through customs, except that I just can't. I would be sad. So bloody expensive though (did I tell you that my computer ended up with a $97 charge on its way back from Florida?!).

Oh! Happy birthday on Sunday, [livejournal.com profile] eanja! I hope it was fun.

Look, here's a post-it I wrote to myself on Friday and then ignored. *sigh*

Ok, I need to find someone who's driving into Kitchener on Saturday so that we can get to the belly dance show we bought tickets for ages ago, and then I need to figure out exactly where I left out the bit that's causing my webpage to go all wonky, and maybe in between those things I can close some of these damn windows.

But first I think I still need chocolate.

If you ever want someone to order things in the US and ship them to you as 'gifts' to skip Customs...I can help. For a fee, of course (known as cost plus nothing).

I'm sorry! You can have it back now, I'm done replying to the 847,000 emails I had waiting for me this morning (several of which were in French, which, fine, except that writing back? Aieee!).

If it makes you feel any better, I have 132 Word documents open because I have much, much copy to write. All I've done is named the files, though -- yes, that's 132 blank sheets of virtual paper staring me in the face ALT-TAB after ALT-TAB. Joy!

I am not driving to Kitchener on Saturday, just in case you were wondering. In fact, after I drive home from the airport on Sunday, I'm not driving anywhere over twenty kiometres away for at least two weeks.

(Dude, I have driven somewhere that takes a long time for the last, count 'em, five weekends in a row! Six counting next weekend. I am crazy!)

Importing

We've been trying to get hemp fabric for the couch we're refinishing. We went through a lot to find a supplier IN Canada, but were ultimately rewarded with this warehouse place in Scarborough. I got new hemp clinic pants too. Woot!.

Thing is, we were concerned about it being held up, duty, hassle, etc, because of the stigma, so we figured it was much better to go local. Isn't possible with everything though.
