I saw The Matrix yesterday...only, what, 4 years late? I loved it, though, very much. So fun. And now I'm going to take
gmajor's advice and pretend that it's a stand-alone movie. Sequels? What sequels?
vestra won tickets to a production of Cabaret for last night, and so we hung about downtown after she got off work, had dinner, shopped for shoes (I bought some very cute, cheap and non-leather kneehigh brown boots), and then wandered over to the theatre...where we found out that the show was cancelled Monday and Tuesday because they were having "technical difficulties" (read: just not ready yet). The stupid thing is that if we'd saw the sign on the door the first time we walked by, two hours before, we could have gone to a movie instead. Luckily we were able to change the tickets for another night, but it was still disappointing.
I had a very lazy day off yesterday (I'm totally doing this backward - oh well). Did very little of anything. Mostly just watched DVDs, tidied, worked on my choreography. Made a list of Christmas presents that I need to buy. It's so annoying that some people I have such a hard time thinking of good gifts, while some people I have 12 different ideas. Why can't they just balance each other out? I love these bonus days off.
I'm craving hot chocolate right now. Luckily, I'd have to actually leave my desk to get it, and possibly even go outside, so I'll probably just stick with water, boring as that is.
Edited to add: Dude, I am so jealous of Mo pie, who got to see A Mighty Wind live in concert. Pouting now.
