After Hours: I found I didn't care and turned it off halfway. I'm becoming a very picky DVD watcher.

All of Me: I hadn't watching in ages, to the point where I couldn't even remember if I'd ever seen the whole thing. Very entertaining.

Black Swan: I really enjoyed this. Yes, it was somewhat exaggerated, but I loved how completely we were immersed in the lead character's point of view. And it was visually very satisfying. See it!

Bob Roberts: Entertaining.

Brazil: Strange and entertaining, but definitely too long. There were something like six false endings. Of course, I think I was watching the director's cut, so...

Bridesmaids: I thought this was very funny (except for the gross-out comedy bits, which I never find particularly funny), and the friendship between the two leads was awesome and not something you get to see in movies often. Worth it entirely for the terrible driving to get the cop's attention scene.

Christopher and His Kind: The story of Christopher Isherwood (played by Matt Smith) in Berlin, based on his book of the same name. It was originally developed for as a BBC series, and it had a bit of that TV feel to it. I quite enjoyed it, but one of the people I was with had read the book and felt they glossed over chunks of stuff that would have made for a more well-rounded story. Interesting.

Diner: I, frankly, don't remember anything about this. I watched the whole thing, though so I must have enjoyed more than some things I've watched recently.

Edward II: Very odd.

Father Goose: This was a very cute movie that I'd never even heard of before. It's about a slacker with a boat who ends up patrolling an island in the Pacific and finds himself rescuing a school of young girls and their teacher (during WWII, I think). Quite charming.

Harry Potter (the most recent one that I can't remember the actual title of): I'll admit, I found this pretty boring. Not really the movie's fault - I found the first half of the book boring too. Too much sitting around without even making plans. Why was no-one planning? I'm looking forward to the next one, though!

His Girl Friday: It was like watching where banter movies came from. I wouldn't say I loved the movie, because I found him quite annoying, but I loved watching the movie. If that makes any sense.

Inception: Loved it! Loved it lots.

King's Speech: A very traditional story elevated by some incredible performances. I thought Helena Bonham Carter was fantastic, in particular. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Kiss of the Spider Woman: A very interesting movie, once I got over expecting them to break into song. :)

Madness of King George: Good movie. I watched it around the same time as The King's Speech (not on purpose), which was an interesting comparison.

Midnight Cowboy: I liked this much better than I thought I would - I was mostly watching it so that I could say I watched it. It must have been a revelation when it first came out.

Picnic at Hanging Rock: I kind of wish I hadn't rewatched this - it didn't have nearly the creepy factor I remember it having. My memories of watching this movie the first time can actually make my eyes water, I found it so disturbing and eerie. This time it was interesting, but I didn't have nearly the same visceral reaction.

Queen Margot: I think I liked this? I have a memory of it being quite violent, but maybe I'm confusing it with something else.

Salaam Bombay: I felt like I'd seen it before, but I think this was actually the first movie about the slums of India to make an impression in North America.

Umbrellas of Cherbourg: Sweet and charming, if maybe a tiny bit boring.

Up in the Air: Yes, it's another movie about the middle-aged man-pain, but I thought it was great.
