So, I went to do a movie post, which I figured would be for the last 3 or 4 months, since I'm always so far behind on these things.
Apparently I haven't written about movies since *last* January.
Hi.
So, in lieu of a real movie/tv on dvd post, and knowing that I've forgotten some things, here's what I apparently watched last year:
Things I Loved:
Bones (seasons 1 & 2)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
I Love You, Man
Julie and Julia
Milk
Rachel Getting Married
Star Trek
Things I Liked:
Adventureland
American Dreamz
Definitely, Maybe
Enchanted
Good Hair
The House Bunny
jPod
Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist
The Princess and the Frog
Project Runway (all the seasons)
Scrubs (a few seasons - up to 6, I think)
The September Issue
Slumdog Millionaire
Spaced
White Christmas
Things I Found Very Depressing But Loved Anyway:
Skins (season1)
Wendy & Lucy
Things That I Thought Were More Entertaining Than Many People Said, While Not Actually Being Awesome:
The Proposal
Zach and Miri Make a Porno
Things That Were Actually Quite Disappointing:
Dead Like Me: Life After Death
Elizabeth: The Golden Age
Things I Didn't Like As Much As I Was Expecting To, Based On What Other People Say:
The Producers (the original)
Up
Wristcutters
Things That Really Should Have Been No Longer Than 30 Minutes, And Then They Would Have Been Interesting:
Garbage Warrior
Religulous
Things I Remember Nothing About:
Next Stop Wonderland
Run, Fat Boy, Run
Some TV Stuff That I Appear To Have More To Say About:
Mad Men (seasons 1 & 2) - It's awesome, but I was getting very bored of the non-work stuff by the middle of the second season. I definitely need a break before watching the 3rd season.
30 Rock (seasons 1 & 2) - 1st season was very funny, 2nd season a little uneven, fun to watch but not something I would buy and watch over again.
True Blood (season 1) - We're in the middle of watching this right now - it's good, but Bill is a supremely boring character and is on the verge of ruining the show for me.
The Tudors (season 1) - Entertaining and wildly ridiculous.
