Friends, you just haven't lived until you've heard "Close To You" on two Celtic harps.

Sigh.

So, after spending a lot of time wandering around Etsy, I really have to wonder what goes through some people's minds. Honestly, how many aprons can the world really need? Not even remotely as many as you can buy on Etsy! Am I wrong?

Bonus! My new favourite song title is "My Heart is a Piece of Garbage. Fight, Seagulls! Fight!"

I love me some Etsy but it is flooded with too much stuff, and often too much of the same stuff. I've taken to trolling for specific things and keeping a ton of favorite stores, because I can't just look for things outright.

Also, if you use the Pounce feature you find interesting things. You also find out how many people sell (and buy!) Twilight themed everything.

People want aprons? And you don't have to buy ALL of them! :)

I need an apron, but I'm unwilling to pay the prices most commonly seen on Etsy.

However, if a person is following the edict of being like one's grandmother, then at least 5 aprons are needed. Two for wearing only in the kitchen, and at least 3 seasonal hostess aprons. They all earn bonus points if edged with rick-rack.

Etsy is like one of those really great junk/antique shops... Lots of bizarrities to gawk at and a few real gems.
