God, do you think it's actually POSSIBLE that Jade could win? But she's such an ass! She somehow manages to take some seriously awesome photos, though. I have been thinking for a while that Danielle will win, but Tyra is awfully concerned about her accent (influenced by Cover Girl, I think). So...Joanie? She's so not model-like in person, though. Which reminds me -- they didn't get the whole speech about coming to judging dressed like models, at least not on camera.
I think I'd like to see an all-star version, with the top three from each season. I bet there would be some regret on the part of the judges about who eventually won some of the seasons.
Jack really needs to stop attempting to go running after people -- hello, doctor! People dying over here! Take advantage of the fact that you have a huge cast, and let someone else go.
Locke's island experiences just get better -- so much for all his beliefs about what the island needed and wanted. I was a little disappointed, though, that they didn't see anything completely bizarre on one of those TV screens. Still, as always, I adore this show and am eternally curious about what big dramatic cliffhanger-y thing they're going to come up with for the finale.
Also, as Ana Lucia and Libby got shot last week, I started to wonder if this was filmed around the same time that they were both busted for drunk-driving. Maybe they were all sad because it was the end of being on a hit TV series? Heh. Plus, once AGAIN there are so few women on the show.
I haven't watched last night's Alias yet, but I'm definitely enjoying the end, despite the fact that it is occasionally stupid and often incomprehensible. And definitely doesn't stand up to analysis. But I love that they are actually wrapping things up, bringing people back, and STILL talking about plot points that started in the first season.
Speaking of not standing up to analysis, my love for Prison Break knows no bounds these days. Especially C-Note. And Michael's tattoos, of course. Yes, the show is the cause of much eyerolling, but there's some excellent acting (and some terrible, VERONICA), and it's just so highly entertaining.
This TV talk brought to you by the fact that I am intending to cancel my cable as soon as these shows (plus CSI, the only other weekly show I watch) are over for the season, so I am enjoying them to the full extent of my ability. More than likely, I'll be able to pick up CTV, CBC and Global with rabbit ears, but just in case, I need my enjoyment to carry me over until next season's stuff comes out on DVD!

Date: 2006-05-11 05:17 pm (UTC)Aw, no. They've given her way too much of the bitch/stupid edit, and she's too old.
If they kick off Danielle in favour of Jade, though, I'm gonna be pissed.

Date: 2006-05-11 06:05 pm (UTC)Because the flashback story was all about the little girl being resurrected, I kept expecting Libby to wake up. Now I'm pissed off that we'll never see her own flashbacks and explanation for why she was at the hospital with Hurley.
