I was in London various times from September to February 2002/2003, and I can say that it rained almost every time I was there. Some clear nights once in a while.. But there was a stretch of weather in January that was really nice - I walked around parks that were sunny and full of people playing rugby and soccer, and camped out on deck chairs reading, and thought of all the miserable snow back home.. So what does that tell you? Uh, go now? (Really, aren;'t you just going to be heading to Leicester Square for cheap tickets anyway? ;)

I *can* tell you that Paris was *bloody brilliant* in September, and I recommend that to anyone. After October hit, it was just as on-and-off miserable as London, but *damn* September was good!
