Oh, yes, my new year's eve was ever so exciting. I read a little, knit a little, ate pizza, drank beer, watched half a movie, and went to bed at 11:30. At least I was in good company though.
The insomnia sounds a lot like mine, except I certainly hope you haven't got the issues causing anxiety the way I do. Better sleep in the new year for both of us!
