• Made bureinato's curry coconut carrot soup


• Discovered that my laptop has a battery life of 0 minutes, so ran back and forth between the living room and the kitchen while cooking in order to read the recipe


• Mailed my international holiday cards


• Ignored the rest of the cards because I can never think of anything to say and even just doing those ones exhausted me


• Nearly cried at work over a stupid excerpt that someone posted from a fic I didn't even read, just because it described how I feel so perfectly


• Turned into crispy roast listersgirl due to the overwhelming heat of my apartment, and especially my bathroom


• Lost my ring


• Remembered to return my library books, finally


• Got mad at everyone around me because someone did something very stupid and no-one would own up to it


• Put laundry in the washer, soap in the dispenser, money in the coin slot, and didn't notice that I didn't turn it on until I went back forty minutes later to change it over to the dryer


• Despaired over the NDP having any chance of getting elected in my riding


• Wished I had a more fascinating and exciting job


• Watched many hours of Six Feet Under season 3 and Popular season 2


• Resolved to stop spending so much time staring at screens of various kinds because I get headaches and eyeaches and jaw pain


• Had long, involved and epic post-apocalyptic dreams starring many people I know and some I don't


• Reaffirmed my knowledge that I cannot say "post-apocalyptic"


• Plotted ways to avoid the staff Christmas party after having been tricked into admitting I had no plans that night
