Many people have many different opinions about Lost this week. How interesting.
I loved this episode. In fact, I've loved the past few, so I feel that they're definitely on a roll.
What I liked:
-No Kate! Hurray! And no Jack -- I like Jack, but not when he's around Kate.
-Claire and Locke. She brings out a very interesting, sweet side in him, and I love that she calls him John. I can picture, some time in the future, something happening to Claire and Locke ending up being the one who looks after Aaron.
-Finding out more about the Others and what happened to the tail end survivors.
-The dynamics between the tail end survivors, and between them and Michael, Jin and Sawyer.
-The fact that Sayid and Shannon's relationship is over -- not that I wanted Shannon to die, but I never believed the two of them together.
-The brief moment of Jack passing Shannon and her stepmother in the hospital.
-The ending. Shock! Drama! There will definitely be awkward relations in the camp once the two groups get together.
I still find Charlie annoying so I hope this Virgin Mary statue subplot goes somewhere and that somewhere is away from Claire. Ana Maria is becoming somewhat too grating, but I want to see how that changes (or doesn't) once the two groups meet up. Boone's flashback hair was, possibly, worse than Jack's flashback hair.
In other news, I just got back from last-minute pub lunch with
sarcasma,
shoefiend and
lamagnifique, where I got to imagine that I, too, was an opera singer. And now I am sleepy. Luckily it's Thursday pretending to be Friday, and I can sleep in tomorrow. Hurray!
