Bored!

So tell me, what are you thinking about right now? What's holding your thought processes hostage (at least the ones that aren't reading LJ)?

I'm thinking that I'd like to be reading my book instead of trying to work, and I'm making numerous to-do lists, and that I should pay those two bills before I leave work today and that I need to call and order those flowers like I promised and and and...

Just before I read the post, I was thinking how you have some extremely cool icons in rotation these days.

I'm thinking about my healing process.

I'm also thinking that I can't wait to get home tonight and watch the last two episodes of season one of the L-Word.

1. How does one accurately determine mean time-to-failure of automation?

2. Just how platform-independent is the statue of david?

Okay, but they're not cheery

That my stomach hurts.
That I sent in my nutrition assignment 3 weeks ago and haven't got a grade yet.
That I am going to be very very bored at work all day.
That I don't ever get to see my local friends, and that thus they may not actually be friends at all.
That I am overweight and possibly clinically depressed.

On the plus side, I am going to the best SCA event of the year this weekend. And I'll get to see some cool people.

I am thinking about my hurty lip and deciding what I should accomplish in July.

I am also wondering what you're thinking, since you neglected to share.

Whether I did my assignment for reference correctly (since he kept changing the guidelines on it).

Whether it will ever stop raining.

About the digital camera I just purchased on Amazon.

Funny how none of these things are related to the work I am supposed to be doing right now.

My head hurts and my nose feels funny, like I just snorted pool water or something. And I'm thinking about my vacation and the things I need to do tonight and tomorrow night, when all I really want to do is sleep.

I feel like my head weighs three times its normal weight, and it's pushing me to lie down on my desk. Oh, and I have cramps. Ow.

How are you?

1) I have to pee.

2) Why does it smell like BM in the library at this moment?

3) Why has my supervisor made all these comments in this particular draft when most of the things he comments on were present in the previous draft?

4) Where is my stuff?

Quicksilver, which is Vol. 1 of Neal Stephenson's The Baroque Cycle.

alternate history set in the 17th/18th centuries and featuring lots of famous thinkers, mathematicians, and natural philosophers, along with the ancestors of several of the characters from Cryptonomicon.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I want to have his beautiful, super-intelligent literary babies, R. I really really do.

Writing and food fill most of my head, with a little bit of "hm I should probably do some work" and "how am I going to spend my free evening" and also "how am I going to fit knitting into however I spend my free evening."

Too bad you won't be seeing the COOLEST people. But we are too broke and besides my new garb was lost. :)

Also, are you stealing my friends? Or are you just hoping for some future ligeout hodling fiestas? ;)
