The one in which I go on and on
Oct. 24th, 2005 05:19 pmOn exquisite timing: The Franz Ferdinand was returned this morning, and I was standing in front of the shelf looking for it when someone came in who wanted it. Denied!
On Nanowrimo: You people are all crazy. In a good way, of course.
On grammar: Trainers really don't appreciate it when you point out misused words and missing letters in the middle of a training session.
On oral hygiene: Yesterday, while cleaning the bathroom (FINALLY), I knocked over the cup containing my toothbrush and toothpaste, and my toothbrush landed on the base of the toilet. The thought of applying the 5-second rule crossed my mind, but it was crazy dusty down there (and in fact still is, because I got distracted before I got around to washing the floor - oops).
On things which are of the good: Pumpkin Spice Latte. I think Starbucks has finally won out over Second Cup for me, between the frappuccinos and the brilliance of maple and pumpkin spiced things.
On work: Why am I still here? Leaving...now!
