Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, I was going to buy a couch. Remember that? When I moved, and left behind the loveseat that was falling apart, and wanted something that friends could sit on and then it would fold out and they could sleep on it? And then I looked at the size of my apartment and the cost of couches and was very confused?
This is not the part where I announce I bought a couch.
Instead, this is the part where I talk about it some more.
vestra took the piano away, which means that conceivably I could move the bookcases to where the piano was, and then there'd be more space for a couch. I still don't think there's enough room for a full-sized futon, which would be the easiest, but at least the couch won't run into the chair.
So I have to start the couch search again. I think I'm either going to have to give up the idea of foldout, because they're awfully expensive. Has anyone ever slept on one of those smaller sized futons with the extra piece that attaches onto the end to turn it into a bed? Because I'm pretty sure if that were me sleeping on it, I'd find a way to fall into the space and get stuck. And that worries me.
I'm determined, though - there will be somewhere for sit by the time our BPAL order arrives so that I can have people over for another smelling party. And hopefully before! Wouldn't that be nice.
