Remember (walking in the sand)

Have I promised to do anything for any of you in the past few weeks? Because I know there are things being forgotten by me in the rush to get organized for Christmas. I keep checking my email in hopes that it'll remind me, like the doofus I am, but that's really not helping. So remind me, please!

And since we're on the subject of reminding, LJ nicely reminded me that it was pipesdreams's birthday yesterday, and it's zarahemla's birthday today! Yay! Have wonderful celebrations.

Oh my god, people, get out of the laundry room! I need to do my laundry. Like, now. I'm not packing dirty clothes, yo.

But! I got the best mail ever. Not only did I get cards from starfishchick, orionnebula (Scrabble! Hee.), brandnewgun, sh1mm3r, and anglaisepaon, I also got my metro pass for January, meaning I won't have to pay to get home from the airport, and my order from Amazon FINALLY arrived. Talk about timing.

It almost made up for the pain that was the mall. I broke down and bought a new pair of jeans (since none of mine fit anymore - oops). Yes, I realize that I'm breaking the embargo on shopping for self in December, but I feel pretty safe in assuming that no-one bought me jeans for Christmas.

Now I need to go eat dinner before I fall over and die. I need to store up energy for the multiple trips to the laundry room in the basement, waiting for people to take their damn clothes out of the dryer.
