There's a Christie factory near us. When you go around the big curve on the QEW, take a deep breath and you can usually identify what they're baking. I usually drive with the windows rolled down if it's a warm enough day. I may look pretty strange, but it's worth it.
You can get bags and bags of broken cookies cheap there, (if not free, must check) since they can't sell the broken ones. (Never mind what happens between there and the stores...) It'd be hard to get through that many though.
