I just bought my first RRSP. I feel very old responsible. I'm not quite ready for retirement yet, though, seeing as I still don't have any cats.

Go, RRSPs!! I highly recommend automatic monthly deposits. I had good intentions but only in the last year have I been really good about putting the money in.

I thought about the monthly thing. I don't know, I feel like I need to talk to someone - right now I have monthly automatic deposits going into a Canada Savings Bond, but I have no idea if that's doing me any good. Maybe an RRSP would be better? Maybe there's something even smarter I should be doing. I feel somewhat clueless when it comes to long-term savings.

I have automatic withdrawls to ING, my non-registered savings and my RRSP. Otherwise, I wouldn't save any money at all.

I always leave my RRSP-buying to the very last nano-second, and after much harrassment from shoefiendmom.

I really ought to break that habit.

Heh - I only did it after much harrassment from my bank teller, who bugged me every time she looked at my savings account (which wasn't even large, or anything).

Oh, RRSPs. I really feel like I should put more money into mine, but then I remember that I don't have. any. money.

Yes! There are two of them - the scary man who always seems like he's laughing at me for being unable to decide between chequing and savings, and the sarcastic woman who loves to talk. It's very fun, having real live people.
