I forgot to mention that I had mail waiting for me when I got home! Tons of mail, in fact, but the exciting bits were cards from laurel, starfishchick, sensational and voleuse.

Plus, voleuse, your mix cd looks fantastic - everyone on it who I've heard, I love, so I'm really looking forward to the rest. Thanks!

It was because of how much joy I got from getting all these cards that I decided I should really make an effort to send Christmas cards to more people next year - spread the happy mail love!

I just got home, and was so excited to see what mail might have accumulated over the past 2 1/2 weeks, but I'm seriously disappointed! A bank statement, a Mastercard bill, and an NDP newsletter?? That's it????

That's lame mail, yo.

Also, that's a big Mastercard balance. Holy crap, how'd that happen?

Urgh, yeah, I got my MC bill too. Not fun! I had hoped that I would be able to claim the visits to the nutritionist, but no go, so the bill isn't going to be made magically smaller, either.

On the other hand, it's not as scary as the Visa bill I got just before I left. *shiver*
