Gah.

Okay - and I'm not kidding this time - just keep me away from the damn romantic movies where everyone falls in love and everything is sparkly and wonderful for ever and ever, because they really make me hideously depressed.

This post brought to you by the late show of Love Actually.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only person who had that reaction. My friend looked at me like I was crazy.

I haven't gone to see it for EXACTLY that reason!!! Stupid stupid sparkly people...

That's why I don't watch those kinds of movies. I kind of hate them.

That's a bummer. I loved the movie and didn't have that reaction, but then I'm in a relationship at the moment (for the first time in 7 years or so).

Not sure what my reaction would be if I weren't. I'd probably still like the film, but it'd make me melancholy. Lord knows years and years of not having any romance didn't stop me from liking some romantic comedies, I'd just get quiet and wistful afterwards.

You are the queen of the bad entertainment decision this week :)

All it takes is for Alternate Movie Trailer Voiceover Guy (you know, the guy with the light baritone, not the "IN A WORLD..." guy) to say that something is the Feelgood Movie of the Whatever, for me to start with the debilitating nausea. There's just no good there.

Whoa.

Things You Never Noticed Before But Now That They've Been Pointed Out They Totally Blow You Away, Not Least Because How The Hell Could You Not Have Noticed Them Before, And Hey, What The Hell Is Up With That Anyway? 101.

I get that. I felt completely pathetic after that movie (and I plan to go see it again this weekend!). Follow it up with some good old BJD wallowing and you're all set. Additional Colin Firth movies are good for what ails ya! (They're fucking good for everything else, too).
