Last night I crawled into bed, fell asleep within 15 minutes, and didn't wake up until my alarm went off. How did this miracle occur? It was COLD in my bedroom. I haven't had a good night's sleep in months and months, but last night it was finally cool enough that I could sleep comfortably, and it was marvelous. Miraculous, even. Sweet pete, I hope this continues.

I am loving the cold sleeping weather. Last night my feet got cold before I went to bed and so I put on socks! Woolen socks! And they were still on when I woke up this morning. Beauty. Now I'll be happy for a couple of weeks until the building management turns the furnace up to "hell".

Exactly - jumping from 30 to 11 in two days means that my building hasn't caught on yet, so it's blissfully cool for a short while at least, and I can sit under blankets.
