My power has now gone out four times in the last 10 minutes. I'm trying to watch Due South, and each time the power comes back on, I turn on the TV and the DVD player, wait for everything to warm up, switch discs, find my episode, fast forward to my spot, hear approximately 2 lines, and BAM, the power goes out again.

DRIVING ME CRAZY.

The power goes out so frequently here -- I don't know if it's Toronto, or this neighbourhood, or my crappy-ass building, or what, but I think I need to start running everything off batteries.

Aha, that explains the computers when I got home. Here I was blaming the cats.

The one where dwelleth the zombie hard drive (GIVE ME MY DATA BACK OMG YOU BITCH ahem) tried to boot off said zombie drive, according to the "help help help there's a zombie drive in me" error message on the startup screen. Keyboards really need a "No Shit" key.

How widespread were these power outages? I've been in Ottawa the last couple of days, but according to my Linux server uhm... cats, the lights didn't even flicker up at Wilson Ave...

I had a number of them on Friday night as well. Our hostess listersgirl lives in spitting distance of me, though, so we're a pretty dreadful statistical sample.

I am so sick of fixing the clocks on my microwave and oven!

Saturday was really annoying because my apartment was superwarm (and this is with barely any heat on), and I had a nasty headache, and the bedroom fan kept stopping, and things kept beeping really loudly, and I was getting very mad.
