Wednesday nights bring the pretty

That is why thongs are not the smart choice. Be prepared! You never know when you're going to have to strip down in front of someone you supposedly hate but secretly want to snog.

I love this show so very much.

Hey, was this the first episode where we've seen every credited character? Oh, wait, never mind, we didn't see Jin. Still, I liked the brief moments of people passing through.

So, basically, we're back where things were in the first season, only with everyone on the same team? Hmm. I have to say, I was pretty happy while Marshall wasn't there. I will miss Weiss, because he probably won't be around much, not being part of the team. And where is Sark? I need my secret pretend far-too-young-for-me boyfriend.

Also, I'm confused already. When did someone try to assassinate Sidney? Did we see that? I should pay more attention.

This is the best double bill since the golden Mutant Enemy days.

I just asked that in my livejournal. This is my first time ever seeing Alias and I'm wondering where this plot originated. (in terms of someone trying to assissinate her).

First any Alias fan heard of it was in this episode.

Ditto with SpyDaddy killing SpyMommy, that's so not what I got out of Syd's visit to the vault in Germany at the end of last season. SpyMommy was last seen on good terms with Sydney and SpyDaddy. In fact, may have even saved Syd. But Lena Olin left the show at the end of season 2 and hasn't been seen since, just communicated with via instant messages and such last season. And that character has changed allegiance a zillion times. Still: I have a hard time imagining her putting a hit out on Syd.

Yet, I liked the episode anyway. I just don't believe things went down with Irina the way outlined.

As for Sark, he did have two visits from Marshall. They had eggs. Hee! (It seems unlikely, but amused me anyway. I can just imagine how irked he'd be to be visited by Marshall).

I can't help but wonder whether there was bad blood between Olin and the producers of Alias... since she refused to return to the show in the 3rd season, maybe they just decided (a) to kill her off, and (b) to make her a baddie in the process. :)

My one Lost comment? The suitcase survived a plane falling from the sky at great speed, Sawyer, so I don't think throwing down from a treetop is going to do anything to the lock.

Or maybe it's just me.

Yeah, Sawyer doesn't seem to be too bright.

I tried to watch Alias, but it just doesn't make any sense and I finally gave up. I guess you have to really follow it to know what's going on.

Also, no Claire last night. Sad. I heart Claire.

We did indeed just jump back three years, only that all this stuff has happened but the characters have not changed at all, which they should have.
