Oh my god, people, get out of the laundry room! I need to do my laundry. Like, now. I'm not packing dirty clothes, yo.
But! I got the best mail ever. Not only did I get cards from
starfishchick,
orionnebula (Scrabble! Hee.),
brandnewgun,
sh1mm3r, and
anglaisepaon, I also got my metro pass for January, meaning I won't have to pay to get home from the airport, and my order from Amazon FINALLY arrived. Talk about timing.
It almost made up for the pain that was the mall. I broke down and bought a new pair of jeans (since none of mine fit anymore - oops). Yes, I realize that I'm breaking the embargo on shopping for self in December, but I feel pretty safe in assuming that no-one bought me jeans for Christmas.
Now I need to go eat dinner before I fall over and die. I need to store up energy for the multiple trips to the laundry room in the basement, waiting for people to take their damn clothes out of the dryer.

It looks like I'm going to be packing dirty clothes. I just hope they're not so dirty it disgusts whatever security people go snooping through them. I am just not up for the freezing, snowy, icy laundry trek (yes, I realize it's only about 20 feet) or the five cycles it's going to take the dryer to warm up; and laundry at my parents' is free.

Wouldn't it be nice, though, if people bought one jeans for Christmas?
