Good baby, evil baby

I am full of bad news on a very minor scale today: the Chicago roadtrip is off (no Audra and no Min, boo), I haven't seen or talked to some friends in weeks (thus killing my August resolution), I don't have the money to take German in the fall like I thought I would, which renders the September resolution of improving my German slightly more difficult, and my hamstrings are wicked tight. I have two things on my to-do list that I cannot bring myself to do because they involve the phone (evil!), we missed The Amazing Race last night because of the RNC, and we haven't had cake at work in months.

On the plus side, it's a long weekend coming up, I'm plotting my next BPAL order, and [livejournal.com profile] vestra is back! Technically. She's away again tonight, and for the weekend, but I almost have a roommate again. I missed you, hon, even though I kind of also loved having the place to myself. Heh.

I think this weekend will be a good time for another Alias marathon.

That's too bad about your trip to Chicago -- I was looking forward to another Amazing Race style recap!

Just curious... did you get the Imp's Ear of Jack I put in the mail for you? A package I sent to Vancouver the same day as I sent yours got there yesterday. I just sent the imp wrapped in bubble wrap inside an envelope so I am a little worried about it. Let me know when you get it and if it's all still in one piece.

As long as the precious makes it out there okay, a tattered envelope is of no consequence.

I'm still not sure why I didn't like this one. It smelled like everything it promised to smell like and yet somehow it just felt all wrong. I hope you do better with it than I did.
