It has come to my attention that I've been writing and stamping "08" on everything I've done in the last 8 days. Someone is going to be very confused when they go to pay my invoices. :P

I'm doing OK with the year, so far, but I wrote Jan 09 2009 on everything I did today.

My theory is that really, it's not the new year yet. It certainly doesn't feel like the new year! And therefore I don't need to write 2009 yet.

I wrote a cheque to someone on Wednesday with the absolute exact right date on it, year and everything, without thinking twice. Then I stared at it for like three minutes trying to figure out if it was right, because it just seemed impossible that I could have done that.
