I've noticed that too - certain shoes make me feel very tall, even if they're not heels.

Sadly, I'm sitting down, on the same chair I always sit on, which hasn't been adjusted. So I'm losing torso height.

Oooh, or, maybe everyone else grew overnight. I'd still be shorter, but at least I wouldn't be, you know, shorter.
