At a glance
Mar. 30th, 2005 10:53 amObviously the way to distract myself from wanting to eat everything in the house is to drink many glasses of wine. I'm not entirely sure which is better for me, though.

My insurance company is starting to get antsy about how long it's taking me to finish off my claim (4 years now), and are pressuring me - politely, of course - to pick up the last 30 or so CDs that I'm owed. "There're lots of exciting new releases coming out right now!"...and none of them are things that I want. I pretty much have everything that I know I want at the moment, at least everything that I want and that they carry. Truth be told, I'm reluctant to close off the claim, because that means I have to join the unwashed masses in actually paying for CDs. Horrors!
I do have to pick up those last few discs, though, so if you have anything to recommend, old, new, doesn't matter -- please, comment away.

In the last month, I have reviewed resumes for 10 people. I am the MASTER. I love looking at other people's resumes, because I always have an opinion. Plus I think my way is the right way, and if people ask me, I get to tell them that. I especially like looking at resumes of people who feel the same way I do about the importance of font, and don't give me funny looks when I suggest changing something just because it looks wrong. First impressions are important, yo.

Other ways in which I win:
I finally remembered to hand in my rent cheques.
There are three paydays this month.
I am wearing my stripey socks.
Ways in which I do not win:
I pressed tofu last night and then forgot to do anything with it.
I am highly unskilled with the wine decorker.
There is no candy at my desk.
Ways in which the rest of the world is evil:
Techno/opera crossovers make my life far too difficult. As do mash-ups. Boo!
