My upstairs neighbours have a lot of sex -- at least, I assume that's what I'm hearing, unless there's something else that would produce the quiet rhythmic squeaking of the hardwood floors. Anyway, I think it's great. Go sex! Still, I can't help but feel like they're taunting me and my empty bed.

Only Sane Co-Worker: So, how was your weekend?
Me: Great! On Friday night I played Scrabble and ate cheese!
Could I be any older? It was, however, an exciting moment in history when I said at dinner, "You could all come to my place", and people didn't run away screaming at the thought of heading all the way into the east end, as happened at my previous place. Score! Also there was spontaneous dropping-by of people, and a very short walk home after movies on Sunday night. This why it's convenient to actually live near people.
Other than play games and watch movies, I did, wow, absolutely nothing productive this weekend. You will understand the level of my unproductiveness when I say I had to dig through the laundry basket twice this morning in order to get dressed. Also I spent all day yesterday in my pjs and only got dressed because of the spontaneous dropping-by in the evening.
Final note: My parents went out walking this weekend in their shorts. I, on the other hand, was covered in an inch thick layer of snow after walking 5 minutes from the streetcar on Saturday. Mrrr.

And?
and she laughed like "that Cummins gal" in Oklahoma that Curly was flirty with. Like a donkey with a sinus condition, that is. And she thought her boyfriend/husband was soooooo funny. *eyeroll*

That's me, a walking advertisement for Jacob Connection.

I love hardwood floors, but you do become somewhat of an expert in recognizing the various sounds. :D

I think I may have changed my mind on the trench. When I tried it on at home, I didn't like it AT ALL.

I wore the dragonfly shirt yesterday (read: put it on in a hurry at 6pm because Sarcasma and Sanity_clause called to say they were just down the street and could they come over? and I thought clothes rather than pjs would be appropriate). Today I'm wearing one of the v-necks, the one that's the same colour as the dragonfly shirt.

BWhahahah....I know
Lord....loud sex neighbours are evil. I had a roommate in university who was loud, and it's annoying when A) you can't sleep and B) you can't remember the last time you had anyone in *your* bed...and C) you can't sleep...

Also, so THAT'S what you meant when you talked about the upstairs people's extremely regular bedtime. I wondered. :)

Hardwood floor sounds. Hmmm. No sex, but I distinctly heard the sound of someone vacuuming marbles in a bathtub upstairs.

Personally, I think your Friday sounds fabulous. Add some olives to the mix and that's a rockin' party! :)

Sorry about the long link. One of these days I'll learn how to make it tiny.

And it did.
I almost bought it, but at the last minute I couldn't go against everything I thought I knew was right in the world. :)

I haven't met my neighbours yet, but I'm tempted to stalk them, just to see who they really are. Although then the visuals might be too much...

Ha!
It must have been that one specific light pink that looks awesome on strawberry blondes & light redheads. You should've bought it!
Re: Ha!
Hee.

But but but but but Scrabble is my most favouritest game in the world and you you you you always said you didn't like so so so so so we never played and now I am sad.
:P
Re: pout.
Next time you're around, I promise we'll play. We can play in Victoria, even, if that will make you feel better. :D
