Toronto vs. Victoria: a bodily comparison

My skin definitely prefers Toronto, even with all the smog. The minute I stepped off the plane in Victoria the zits erupted and they didn't go away until I got back here. Not that my skin is all that great in Toronto, either, but it's not nearly as scary as Victoria skin.

My hair, on the other hand, is much happier in Victoria, as evidenced by the fact that I apparently don't shed there. I know! What's up with that? I was actually quite disturbed by the showers where I didn't end up with literal handfuls of hair - it felt unnatural.

My nose is undecided: the right nostril was crusty and bleeding in Victoria, and the left nostril is crusty and bleeding here. Joy. Also, logically it seems like it should be the other way around.

Weird. Of course, we shed hair all the time (it's just that some of us *cough cough* don't grow it back). That's really strange. Maybe it's the humidity? Or the difference between ocean vs lake air? Hmm.

And, speaking as your massage therapist, if you think your skin is terrible I should introduce you to some of my other patients. :)
