• Someone just used the word "stunning" in conjunction with Meet the Fockers.
  
• It really is the new year, and I have proof: I had to get a brand new date stamp.
  
• STAMP. STAMPSTAMPSTAMP.
  
• I have lost my stripy socks icon, the one that was previously my default icon. Woe!
  
• I'm very uncomfortable asking for things, but I have no skills, software or time, so: if anyone is bored, maybe you'd like to make me an icon? Whatever pleases you, but what I really secretly want is something with my name on it. If you do, I will say all sorts of nice things about you.
  
• I can justify asking for this because I didn't post a Christmas wishlist of any sort.
  
• No, wait! Justification is unhealthy. Min said so.
  
• I am back at work, and therefore I am dying of hunger even though it's still not lunch time. It's nice to know some things never change.
  
• My list of New Year's Delusions is growing.
  
• I read 133 books last year. Plus a few more that I didn't write about because they were too lame or embarrassing.
  
• FOOOOOOOOOOOD.
  
• Maybe I should think about reading less this year. Maybe I could use that time to do other, more exciting things!
