Last night around midnight, vestra and I completely spontaneously decided to sign up for one of those DVD delivery things (zip.ca, if anyone cares). We'd never even talked about it, and yet there we were, in the half hour between her getting home from work and me going to bed. Of course, this negates any money savings we got from giving up the extended cable, but shhhhh, don't tell anyone.

Now we're frantically filling up our list with everything we've ever wanted to see. So much fun! Secretly, I think the reason that we wanted to do this is that we're both suckers for anything that involves a list of any sort.

So I'm taking recommendations! Anything you've seen recently and loved? Anything you think my life is not complete without having seen? Anything you adore for no good reason? Rec me something!

ps. starfishchick and sarcasma, Elizabeth was one of the first things on, since I've now had multiple discussions with both of you about how much we really need to see this movie. :)

My Man Godfrey is one of my favourite movies, but it is rather silly. My sister and I have four copies between us (two on VHS and two on DVD).

Heavenly Creatures! I love that movie. I haven't seen barely anything else on the list, though, so this is fabulous.
